In 2002, I received my M.Ed. in secondary education from William Carey University.  In 2004, I earned my National Board Certification in secondary social studies.  That same year, I was named Teacher of the Year at SHS and in 2013 named Teacher of the Year for the school district.  In 2002, I was named a Top 100 Teacher in the nation by Teen Ink Magazine.  I am a 5 time STAR teacher.

In 2019 my tennis team won the 5A State Tennis Championship.  I have served on numerous committees on the state level for both academics and athletics. I am retired from public education and I am now full time helping people make the best choices for their Medicare needs.
